How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches Complainnearby Remodeling to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page explains how to file a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
What You Can Tell Us About
You can contact us about any of these:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Complainnearby Remodeling
- The way we handled your personal information
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If Your Concern Is a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one is responsible for its own quotes, contracts, pricing, work, and customer service. If you have a problem with a remodeling project, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly. Keep a written record of what was said.
We still want to hear about it. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed. Please know that Complainnearby Remodeling cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work, or act on a provider's behalf.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@complainnearby.beer and include:
- Your name and the easiest way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for
After You Write
We will confirm by email that we got your complaint, usually within a few business days. Next, we will look into what happened, which may include reaching out to the provider. Then we will tell you what we found and any steps we are taking.
Still Unhappy?
If you are not satisfied with our reply, answer our message and ask us to look again. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For a problem with a contractor, your state or local contractor licensing board may be able to help too.
